Andres Heiney-Gonzalez

Trial Attorney Andres Heiney-Gonzalez has been pursuing justice at Jezic & Moyse for seven years. He focuses his practice on Family Law and Criminal Defense matters. He has been selected as a “Rising Star” in Maryland SuperLawyers Magazine for 2022 and 2023.

His Family Law practice includes consultations, custody, divorce, settlement agreements, modifications, protective orders, and more. He provides hour-long consultations to those looking to gain information and seek advice. Raised by two social workers, he treats each case with empathy and compassion. His primary goal is to assist his clients as they secure the best future for themselves and their families.

• After a trial, his client was awarded an Absolute Divorce on the ground of Cruelty of Treatment, after the wife falsely alleged that his client abused her.

His Criminal Defense practice includes traffic offenses, misdemeanors, and felonies. He works with clients to find the best defense for their case and ensure his clients are prepared for trial. Over the past six years he has handled matters in just about every court in Maryland, including jury trials in Montgomery and Prince George’s County.

Prior to joining Jezic & Moyse, LLC., he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law where he graduated cum laude and served as the Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association. Upon graduation, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Marielsa A. Bernard in the Montgomery County Circuit Court.

Mr. Heiney-Gonzalez speaks fluent in Spanish, learning through studies and travels to Mexico, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic.
