Edgar O. Angelone, Ph.D., ABAP, ABPN, received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1992. He also graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School, Argentina, in 1980 with a specialty in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He furthered his studies in neuroimaging in a post-doctoral program at Harvard/MIT and in electroencephalogram at a post-doctoral program at Saint Petersburg University, Russia.
He holds Diplomates in Assessment Psychology from the American Board of Assessment Psychology, a Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology from the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology, and a Diplomate in Quantitative EEG from the International Board of Quantitative EEG.
Dr. Angelone is the author of numerous journal articles in the area of assessment psychology. He has been an active examiner for both the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology and the American Board of Assessment Psychology. Dr. Angelone was the Chief Psychologist at Marin General Hospital, and a consultant for many hospitals in the Northern California area. He is also a consultant for the Federal Aviation Administration and for a number of professional sports organizations. He was an Assistant Clinical Professor in the departments of Neurology and Psychiatry at the University of California San Francisco where he lectured in neuropsychology and supervised post-doctoral students in neuropsychology.
Dr. Angelone has also taught at the Dominican University, The Wright Institute, Golden Gate University, and the Fielding Institute Graduate Program in Neuropsychology. He has also lectured nationally and internationally in the area of integration of neuroimaging and neuropsychology.
He is a Fellow of the American Board of Assessment Psychology, American Board of Professional Psychology, and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Currently, Dr. Angelone is in independent practice as the Director of Neuropsychology at the Marin Neuropsychology Center in California, where he focuses his time in clinical and forensic neuropsychological consultations.
