Kim Melchor is the founder of the Law Office of K.M. Melchor and is licensed to practice law in Ohio and California. She graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2015 and spent 7 years as a criminal defense attorney in Dayton, OH before relocating her practice to California and shifting her focus to personal injury matters. She has dedicated her legal career to protecting her client’s civil rights and has litigated numerous cases.
As a native Spanish speaker, she is grateful that she has the opportunity to offer legal services to Spanish speaking clients, a population that is severely underserved. She is proud to have served as guardian ad litem for hundreds of children involved with Children’s Services and juvenile delinquency court. Kim has received several awards for her work
Kim’s legal philosophy is to be honest, have empathy and there is no such thing as being overly prepared. Kim was born and raised in southern California and is honored to help people in the community she grew up in.
