As a managing partner in The Cochran Firm’s Florida office, Scott Leeds focuses his practice on the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation. He has litigated numerous high profile cases to verdict or settlement. Leeds was one of the first attorneys in the nation to successfully sue the Republic of Cuba and collect over $47 million.

Mr. Leeds has received many nominations from his peers, including ATLA’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers, South Florida Legal Guide Top Lawyers, Law and Leading Attorneys for Florida, Florida Legal Elite, and a Martindale Hubbell AV rating. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Florida Justice Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and Dade County Trial Lawyers Association.

A graduate of St. John’s University in Pharmacy, Mr. Leeds became a licensed pharmacist in New York and Florida. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. With experience in areas of pharmacy and law, Scott is a frequent lecturer to both legal and medical organizations.
